Job Title

Global ICT Service Operation Staff

General Summery

Serve as a technical support specialist assigned to the support center of a major telecom or network integration company to monitor and maintain network operation for the clients' foreign subsidiaries

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain network at a network operations center of major telecom company and network integrator for clients’ overseas subsidiaries.
  • Handle inbound and outbound client calls and emails in Japanese and English to provide information on network solution services.
  • Handle inbound and outbound client calls and emails in Japanese (primary) and English to assist with network troubleshooting
  • Contact clients’ local telecom companies to request incident resolution in English.
  • Must be available for a night shift once a week to cover a 24/7/365 schedule.

Education Requirements

High School Graduates level

Nationality

Candidates may be of any nationality. If you don’t possess Japanese citizenship, work visa is required. (Cybernation may be able to offer assistance with the visa application.)

Experience and Skills

Candidates without prior experience in networking:
  • Recent college grads (who graduated within the last 2 years) who received their education outside Japan and repatriated children (kikokushijo) who lived in English-speaking countries are preferred.
Candidates with prior experience in networking: All candidates:
  • Native level Japanese and business level English
  • Ability to handle client calls efficiently in Japanese

Certifications

TOEIC score of 700 or more

Training Programs

  • Basic networking training (one to three months) is provided if you don’t have prior experience in networking. The cost will be paid by Cybernation.
  • You must obtain CCENT certification during the training program. The cost of first exam will be paid by Cybernation.
  • English conversation class is provided at an affiliated English school to improve English communication skills. The cost is paid partially by Cybernation.

Job Type

Full-time employee (Contract employee for the first three months of probationary period)

Age Requirement

20 and 35 years old*

Number of Hires

One to two people a month

Salary

Annual Salary:2.8 million yen and up (Varies based on experience, skills, and age)
Monthly Salary:233,000 yen and up (2/3 of this amount during the training period)
Bonus:None
Salary Increase: Once a year (in June) based on personal experience, skills, and age

Working Hours

Regular working hours: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Shift work (shifts are rotated on a monthly basis)
Examples of shift arrangements:
Day shift: 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (One-hour break included)
Night shift: 5:00 p.m. - 9:30 a.m. (Two-hour break included, four to five times monthly, 1 day off after night shift)
Note: There is less than 10 hours' overtime a month.

Vacation, Holiday,
and Time-off

Two days off a week (based on shift schedule)
Summer vacation, year-end and new year holidays, leave of absence, paid time-off

Place of Work

During the training period:
Cybernation’s office in Takadanobaba Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo
Regular place of work:
Network operations center in a major telecom company in Otemachi Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo

Commuting Allowance

Actual cost will be paid.
